Please read these terms & conditions carefully. They apply to all the travel arrangements detailed on your invoice, and they deal with your rights and obligations to us and ours to you.
Booking/Deposit: Your completed booking form showing all clients must be accompanied by a non-refundable deposit of £160.00 per person for 1 week & £260.00 per person for 2 weeks. The person signing the booking form confirms that he/she has the authority of all other persons included in the holiday to make the booking on their behalf and that he/she has read and accepted these booking terms and conditions. The deposit is accepted as part payment towards the total cost of the holiday. If your chosen holiday dates are available we will make a provisional booking over the telephone or email and hold an option open for up to seven days.
a. The balance of the cost of the holiday must be paid no later than 10 weeks before departure, or as we may otherwise specify. If you book within 10 weeks of departure you must pay the total cost of your holiday at the time of booking.
b. If unconditional payment of the balance is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking.
If you cancel your holiday:
Any client canceling a booking must do so in writing but the following charges apply, the weeks in question being calculated from the date of receipt of the written cancellation in our office.
a. Over ten weeks prior to departure Loss of deposit b. Ten to eight weeks prior to departure 50% of travel cost c. Less than eight weeks prior to departure 100% of travel cost
All-Inclusive-Tackle & Equipment: Sufficient end tackle will be supplied, which in our opinion is adequate for the length of stay for your holiday. However, once this has been exhausted irrespective of whether it has been lost, stolen or used, yourself and the party for whom you have booked will be responsible for the payment of further end tackle charged at standard U.K. retail prices.
Damages:
You are responsible for any Canadian Carpin Holidays property & tackle damages resulting from loss, theft or breakage whilst in your possession & will be charged in full and made payable before you board your outbound flight.
If you have a complaint: We do our best to give you an enjoyable and trouble free holiday but occasionally even the best laid plans can go wrong. If you have a problem or complaint relating to the overseas part of your holiday, please report to P. Hunt in order for the matter to be resolved on the spot.
Your responsibilities:
You must be responsible for a reasonable standard of behavior by yourself and by those for whom you have booked. We reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a client if their behavior is, in our opinion or the opinion of anyone in authority, likely to cause distress, damage, danger or annoyance to other customers, employees, other people or property. You understand that we shall be under no liability to pay any refund, compensation or costs incurred by any person whose behavior is thus unacceptable.
Our price policy:
All prices in this website are quoted per person per holiday and include accommodation, three meals daily, transfers and usage of fishing tackle( subject to payment of required deposit amount). We guarantee that the price of your holiday will not be subject to any surcharge whatsoever. Once you have made your booking and paid a deposit, then the cost of your holiday cannot be increased.
If we cancel your holiday:
In the extreme rare event of a cancellation by Canadian Carpin Holidays, we will return all monies paid to us and offer you an alternative holiday to purchase of comparable standard. However, in no case will we cancel your holiday after the balance of payment for the holiday is due except where this is by reason of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequence of which cannot be avoided.
Your holiday & personal injury:
It is the responsibility of all those clients mentioned in the booking form to purchase Travel Insurance from the flight company for their holiday. This is to ensure coverage arising from any medical conditions, accidents, injuries or loss/damage to personal property whilst in Canada. Canadian Carpin Holidays cannot accept liability for damages caused by failure to perform the contract where the failure or the improper performance was not the fault of Canadian Carpin Holidays because:
a) the failure in performance is attributable to you or any member of your party or,
b) the failure is attributable to a third party unconnected with the provision of the services contracted for, and is unforeseen or unavoidable or,
c) the failure due to:
I) unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequence of which could not have been exercised or,
II) an event in which even in all due care, we could not foresee or forestall.
Jurisdiction: Signature of the booking form constitutes acceptance of a contract on these terms subject to British/Canadian Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the British/Canadian Courts. In the event of insolvency your payments are protected. The Trust Fund is held with us at Canadian Carpin' Holidays.
