Hi Paul & Lisa

just to let you know I arrived home safely after my drive down to Toronto, I just want to thank you both for the great holiday I had, I know we are all just customers but you always make us feel like old friends what a great bunch of guys there were for the last week of the season! my son asked me how the fishing was I told him not so good this time then I thought where else in the world can you go and catch 32 beautiful commons to 29lb 10oz at 565lb and have a crap week. If I stay in the coffin dodgers club I will see you next year. thank you once again!

How are you, Is the fishing still going good. I had a good flight, I slept almost the whole flight. I want to thank you again for the greatest fishing I have ever done in my life! It was just unbelievable. Landing 3-30s to 33lb 8oz with loads of big 20s & over 20 carps in a day. I don't know how to thank you for this but I just wanted you to know that you are best hosts there is!! tell Lisa the dinner was the best every day! Also the lunch and breakfast! It was MENTOL!!!!!

Hi Paul, Lisa & Jedda, Just to say a big "Thank you" for looking after us on such a great holiday last week. I for one will never forget those hard fighting carp! all 300 of them! Also thanks to all the other boys on the trip for your good company & for such a great laugh! Needless to say we will return. Thanks again Paul & Lisa for all your hard work & for looking after us so well.

From the minute we arrived we were looked after, Paul & Lisa are fantasist hosts, making sure our stay was comfy & relaxing , The fishing was non-stop day to day with multiple takes of hard fighting CCH carp! all 88 of them! All round pleasurable experience, well recommend highly to anyone looking for that "ALL ROUND PACKAGE, FOOD + ENTERTAINMENT-"FANTISTIC"

Just wanted to say thanks for the weeks fishing, I'll be having some more of it some time. Got all my pic's printed off and put in my folder. I been showing off the 39lb carp to every body. I weighed my self when I got back, I had put on half a stone, thanks Lisa ha ha ha. Really enjoyed the week and the company--banter--and fishing stories, see you both soon.

Thanks for another great week at CCH. The weather could have been better but we still had a great time. Thanks to you both for making the holiday so enjoyable and a special thanks to Lisa from the ladies for the trips out (especially Montreal) and from everyone for the excellent food.

What a week, excellent fishing paul really enjoyed fishing snag bay, that was an area I had not fished before, challenging but rewarding, when you got your head around it, the key was don’t let those snags beat you, nice to see you updating fishing equipment when needed, I think we have given Deano the St. Lawrence bug, he wants to come back A.S.A.P, For my 50th, Didn’t we have a laugh with the boy’s especially Tony and Dave with there picture’s, I kept pulling there leg’s, I think they enjoyed it really, Myself and Deano got some editing to do of our fishing trip, I’m off paul another big thanks' to yourself and Lisa, ps that was awesome in snag bay .

we would just like to say thank you very much, we had a great weeks fishing and can't wait to come back, the accommodation you give is 5 star luxury, the food was delicious and the fishing outstanding. As an added bonus whilst we were there, we met two of the nicest fishermen you could ever wish to meet, Rob and Gary with whom will be keeping in touch There is no-one who could come close to giving the service yourself and Lisa provide. It was a privilege to spend our week with you.

To start with thankyou both so much , Paul for his outstanding knowledge putting us on the fish and of course his humor and Lisa for playing mum , superb food and rooms it really is home from home and onyx who with Paul made sure we got safely to our swims oh Lisa ill try and eat some greens and maybe surprise you on my next visit , wot a wicked weeks fishing we had with around 140 carp to 30lb + including 3 mirrors between four of us myself Jammy Dave, Moany Shaun ,serious bob and rob the square excuse the pun we're hooked ! I know places are going quick but well hopefully be back with you fishing at the end of sep beginning of Oct looking forward to it fishing here ( UK ) just wont be the same !

Once again thanks we have had a wonderful time in the new house. The house is to an incredible high standard of luxury which beats any motel, bivvy any day. The fishing was slow to start but we ended on a high with over 20 20s and 30s each to 36.4 A few of them only 100 yards from the kettle and the beer fridge don't get better than that does it?

We had a great crowd there as well that helped make the week. And again we booked up for 2007 place should be renamed to addicted to Canadian Carpin' LOL. See you both again next may!!!!!

Dear Paul & Lisa,

Just wanted to say thanks for making our stay with you so perfect, I really appreciate the special attention paid to William my 8 year old son. We both had the time of our life and he has been telling everyone about it. He also has put Paul on a bit of a pedestal as he is telling his mates that he has been taught by the best Carp fishermen in the world. I don make him a bad judge to be honest. Will sort some dates soon for next year as we cant wait to come back.

Just thought I would drop you a quick e-mail to thank you for a wonderful week. Both Adam and I had a fantastic time with everything catered for, you provided the complete experience and left me feeling that nothing is left to chance, the fishing inc. gear, the hospitality, the advice and the food were all fantastic. The house is such a wonderful place to stay.

We had 121 Carp in 1 week between us to 30lb and each one fought so hard it certainly puts the Ebro (SPAIN) to shame, but a fishing holiday is so much more than the haul and this had everything.

Finally I almost forgot the great diving you provided on the lighthouse swim! ( A carp pulled by rod in to the river!! so I jump in for it) this is one experience I will hopefully not be repeating next year when I return on the 17 September, I will be looking forward to it all year now. Again thanks for the greatest fishing experience of my life!

myself, Dad (Baron) and cousin Martin are now back home. I just wanted to thank you for a very enjoyable weeks fishing. Lisa's cooking seems to get better and better and your jokes are improving. Seriously we had a wonderful week catching 496lb in our first day, unbelievable, and my cousin Martin knew after that day that he was in for a fantastic weeks fishing. The new boat is great and got us to our swims in 10 to 15 minutes, and meant my poor old Dad did not have to walk too far with all the gear, it was just a matter of placing the gear directly in the swim from the boat. I equaled my PB Canadian carp of 28lb and Martin smashed his 14lb PB and landed one of 25lb. We had so may multiple hook-ups it was unbelievable, on three occasions we had carp runs on all three rods at the same time ! You made us very welcome and catered for our every needs. Fantastic hosts and we hope to see you all again soon. I am Back to work today dreaming of being on the St Lawrence again, what an amazing river, it always takes my breath away just sitting on the bank and 12 hours fishing passes like a blink of an eye.

I just thought I would write and thankyou for a fantastic weeks fishing. I know how hard both you and Lisa worked to make sure we all enjoyed ourselves. Although the fishing was difficult at times due to the weather conditions Owen still managed to break his P.B twice with fish of 32lbs and 34lbs 9ozs he was well pleased and Roger and I both had fish to low thirties.

A fantastic result! Please pass on our thanks to Lisa the food was amazing just what is needed after a long day on the bank. The River Island Manor is a superb carp fishing venue and we are already looking forward to a return visit.

I have arrived home none the worse for wear, apart from being very tired , no change there then ! Once again I have had a superb holiday and would just like to say thank you to both of you for looking after me as well as you did, but I have to give Paul a special thank you for putting in so much effort to help us catch fish when the going was tough for me with my lack of fitness. I hope the other guys appreciate how many fish we caught because of your constant work especially with the casting, ( I was crap at it this year )You kept me going Paul when I could have easily took a day off for a rest, so thanks for pushing me , I will be stronger because of it, and it has kicked started me on the road to loosing some weight. ROLL ON THE WISER !!!!!!!!!!!!

Apart from the early mornings, the frantic fishing (35 carp in one day & my PB of 31lb+), the gallons of beer, it is probably one of the most chilled out weeks that Pete and I spend away. It is certainly one of the most enjoyable. We will see you next year! all 6 of us this time.

Thanks for another great weeks holiday fishing the St Lawrence. This was my best trip yet (1 week) in terms of number of carp caught and total weight. I ended up with 119 carp including 3 thirty's with a total weight of over 2000 lb. WOW

The weather was great and I am only just starting to lose the tan. All the guys were a right laugh and we will see you next year. Anyway, to sum it up, Great food, Great fishing, Great hospitality and cant wait to get back. Cheers,

"We visited Paul & Lisa in 2008 and had a really fantastic time. I cannot speak highly enough of the facilities & professionalism they apply to ensure you have a truly memorable fishing holiday... and you certainly will remember the fishing! Here was a typical day for me (fishing just during the day); 27 takes, 21 fish banked, average mid 20’s up to 31lb. The fight these wild river commons give you is unbelievable. They’ve never seen a hook before and have spent their lives battling against the strong currents of this mighty river – they are the true Olympic athletes of the carp world!

But it isn’t just the fishing that makes these holidays so special, it’s the attention to detail that Paul & Lisa have put into the other aspects. You’ll be stopping in the impressive River Island Manor, a house which has been restored by the couple to its original Victorian glory and you’ll be cooked for by Lisa in the evening... and believe me she’s a great cook. As I said at the start of this little piece – we had a fantastic time & I’d thoroughly recommend it to you. Get on a plane to Canada & enjoy!"
